The Laboratory of Affective Sensory Research at Vanderbilt is currently conducting a study looking at the processing of pain information in adults ages 18-50 with and without autism. We are especially in need of typically developing women to participate!

The study involves 1-2 appointments, each lasting 1-2 hours. You will be compensated at a rate of $20 an hour for your participation! If you do meet final eligibility for the study, you will participate in several sensory tasks that measure touch and pain, specifically heat pain applied to the leg, and answer some questionnaires. You will have an opportunity to feel the maximum temperature before continuing with the study, and the temperatures are not high enough to cause any permanent damage.
If you are interested in participating, please email us with a few dates and times during which a lab member can call you for a 10-minute phone screening. If you are eligible, we will move forward with scheduling your participation!
