Key Responsibilities
Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble solid surface materials using routers, saws, and CNC machines.
Finishing: Sand, polish, and detail surfaces to achieve a seamless, high-quality finish.
Installation Prep: Glue, seam, and reinforce materials with substrate (like MDF).
Quality Control: Review technical drawings/blueprints and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy.
Safety: Maintain a clean work area and follow safety protocols.
Common Requirements
Skills: Proficiency with hand tools (routers, sanders, saws), ability to read tape measures and blueprints, and strong attention to detail.
Experience: Previous experience in cabinet making, stone fabrication, or general construction is usually required.
Physical: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
