I started scuba diving in July and was at the local quarry on a weekly basis, so I knew I needed my own cylinder. It took a bit to come in to my local shop, so I finally picked it up a month ago, which is about the same time I realized I don't need my own cylinder (tank) after all. I have been driving to the ocean to dive mostly, so I just rent cylinders while I am there. This cylinder was only used in a freshwater quarry in middle TN.
I used this steel Faber 100 3x and love that it doesn't create positive buoyancy toward the end of my dive like aluminum. There is nothing wrong with it. Until a week ago, I had the box it was shipped in. As you can see on the sticker of the cylinder, it holds 3442 psi, and it currently has approx 1000 psi in it, so feel free to bring your regulator to test it. It's never had Nitrox in it; only air.
