ANTI is one of the very first West Coast Political Punk bands from the early California punk scene. ANTI formed in late 1979 when the scene was just starting.
Our first 3 Vinyl LPs from the early 1980's have just been released again on Radiation Records, we have a new 20 song LP called ANTI - "The Future is the Past" out on Dr. Strange Records... on vinyl and digital, Spotify, etc. Recorded by Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, Local H. Producer Jeff Molesk…
Just relocated from west cost to Nashville Tennessee and want to put a line up soon to do gigs. Need Drummer, and Bass to play shows out this way, eventually to become permanent.

Love to find a versatile drummer who could play like the drummer of THE CLASH, Pistols, SLF, Damned, 999, and a Bass player like Paul Simonon of the Clash, Tony James of Generation X, who plays 4 String Fender P-bass, jazz bass, Music Man, or Rickenbacker. we have nine of our 10 releases on Spotify. Next album in the Works. Would like to start rehearsing soon in the Nashville and Gallatin area. Possible shows on the West Coast in Feb, March next year.
ANTI came from the 1979 southern California original Punk scene, the same time period and neighborhood, and Area as Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Descendants, Red Cross, Wasted Youth, the Alley Cats, etc… we formed in late 1979, began playing shows late 1980, so we got to open up for a lot of the early Punk bands in the southern California area in the early 1980's, the Alley Cats, black flag, descendants, red Cross, bad Religion, social distortion, fear, suicidal tendencies, the vandals, Naked Raygun, etc.we also played the first ever punk festival in US history in Berkeley California called the Eastern Front in 1981, with the Slits, etc....
