Going out on a limb to see if there is a blues bassist and drummer who have time in the saddle together and are quick studies. Having a band or artist send me their repertoire and a date to show up has been beyond rewarding and spares drawn out failed start ups. That is to say sessions will happen but working individually, remotely by and large(email, text, etc.) is preferred. There are tons of blues instrumentals I do but would like to find a harp/vox player if possible.
Me - Music education thru Belmont guitar department mostly but other independent instructors, cool with Nashville number system, more than a few years experience in studio and stage. Slide work in standard and all open tunings. Pro gear, several guitar models, amps and effects. No stepping on vox, know the difference between lead and rhythm volume. Nashville native living in Franklin's south side.
My influences are certainly more than can be put in an e-mail, but to mention a few, Ry Cooder, Sonny Landreth, Johnny A., Papa Chubby, Joe Kubek, Jeff Beck, Johnny Hilland, Dave Hole, Duane Allman, Robben Ford, Joe Bonamassa, Johnny Winter, George Benson, Duke Robillard, Ronnie Earl, Larry Carlton. I play standard tuning with Stratocaster(2ea), Tele and a Reverend Pete Anderson model. All open tunings for slide work with (2) Gibson models(L6-S and Explorer) running thru Fender gear(amps). I'm afraid I am "social media " paranoid and don't have a Facebook page. Here is a you tube take with me playing SRV's Riviera Paradise with Dennis Taylor, former sax player for Delbert McClinton, Dennis passed away while on the road with Delbert Oct. of 10 and some pix with Jonnell Mosser.
