Here for sale is a great sounding and playing 1952 American Standard Upright Bass. It features all the hallmarks of this brand of bass, a big huge powerful full tone sound. Fully labeled inside, with a serial number from 1952, It is factory original with the exception of an original Epiphone bass tailpiece. Normal cosmetic wear from playing. The neck has never been broken, it has been reset,the screws to my knowledge could be removed but they do not affect the tone or the playability. It has a new set of Pirastro Eva Pirazzi Golds, for that big huge warm sound. Features an adjustable endpin, includes a new Protec case.
