The finish is partially rubbed off on most of the lugs (the worst example is shown in the last pic) -- this actually seems to be a common issue with these snares ; There's also some very light pitting on the butt plate, BUT the majority of the drum has a fantastic mirror-like appearance.
The main reason I’m selling is because I’ve found the shell diameter to be to small. I normally tune high and prefer a snug-fitting head, but because there’s some play between the head collar and bearing edge it takes more turns to get tuned up, which stretches the head more, leaving less vertical space between the head and the hoop etc. For some reason manufacturers sometimes make drums this way...I suppose the idea is for the head to seat better.
Comes with newer heads top and bottom: Remo P77 coated batter and a Remo Hazy Ambassador reso. The drum is hefty, weighing 11.3 lbs.
