Lotus Vintage Precision P Bass Fender Style Blueburst WMP pickguard & white pickups 1980s 4 String
Vintage Fender Precision P Bass style 4 string bass made by Lotus, likely in the 1980s in a really cool and unique blue-silver burst. White marine pearl pickguard and white p-bass style pickups. Great tone, mid forward and sits in a mix well. Has served a great purpose as a p-bass tone flavor alternative in studio sessions. There are no markings denoting country of origin so this is a bit of speculation, however it has a lot of similarities to instruments made in Japan during the era.

Things to note in taking into consideration. The bass as it is seen, is precisely how it is and has been when I got it and used as such. Presuming that there used to be some kind of a cap on the knobs, there is now just black plastic tips. Perhaps those were put there in place of whatever knob was prior, perhaps the knob went over it. No idea! While I've left it as is for what I need. I do have a box of misc spare knob tops, happy to shoot over what fits and let whoever buys it choose some knob top if desired, no extra cost, or put your own on. There are numbers written on the side of the neck as seen in the photos, I never bothered to scrub off. Finally, the G string tuner peghead has movement to it when tuning and will wobble, but still functions as a tuner and does not affect stability of tuning when tuned. Depending on the basses use, it's fine to be left as is or user may want to replace with a $15 replacement from local shop / amazon. This bass has been used in a smoke-free recording studio during ownership, no live or road use or funky smells.
Does not officially have or include a case.
