The Alesis Performance Pad is essentially a drum machine with eight velocity-sensitive drum trigger pads. You can use it to come up with and record your own beats, or play along with built-in grooves. Also includes inputs for a bass drum pedal and hi-hat pedal, as well as allowing you to plug in and play along with your MP3 or CD player.
