Good condition 1965 Gibson Firebird III Non-Reverse in a black refinish. Nut and tail piece are brass. Phase switched installed that is active on positions two and four. All three original P90’s are in this example. Original pickguard is worn but is in good condition. Tuners have been replaced with Grovers. Black refinish is consistent with little flaking. Frets have plenty of life left. Intonation is on and this example stays in tune well. These P90’s, especially the neck pickup, scream and sound exactly as you come to expect from a 60’s Firebird. Original case is a bit ratty, but does fit the guitar decently well. No scratchy pots or intermittent signal. The phase switch adds some very interesting tone options with the 5-way switch. This example is probably my favorite non-reverse refin I’ve seen in a while, and would make a killer touring rig, or studio setup with the original P90’s. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
