Good condition 1927 Gibson L-1 acoustic guitar. All original outside of of an added pickguard and replaced bridge. Intonation is where is should be, neck is nice and straight, original tuners rotate well and stay in tune etc. This example has a very nice dark brown color to the wood, and the patina is exactly what you would want out of a 100 year old instrument. Frets are in playable condition. No apparent need for a neck reset. Some very nice wear happening on the back of the neck from play. Very warm and dry sound, perfect for the sound of this era. Very very slight bridge lift happening as pictured, but nothing to be concerned about at this very moment. Pickguard is not lifting. No concerning cracks etc. Just a nice playable example from a very specific era of Gibson. Comes with pictured soft shell case. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
