They are $8 a bundle and are large in size and weight with a minimum of 10 to 12 sticks per bundle which are appr. 16" long.
Great for Home Fireplaces, Stoves or to burn in your Firepit..
Kiln dry vs seasoned wood??
1. Helps kill insects and mold.
2. Holds down on popping due to moisture pockets in the wood.
3. More energy is released as heat instead of evaporating moisture, which means more heat and less smoke.
4. The cleaner burn from dry wood prevents fewer harmful chemicals and particulates being released, making it better for homes and the environment.
5. Holds down on creosote build up vs burning a wood with more moisture.
6. Ready to burn when purchased.
Cost may be more vs seasoned wood initially, but in the long run it may pay for itself with less chimney services and overall health.
If you buy 5, I will throw in a nice bundle of kindling. Additional bundles of kindling are $3 with 20 plus sticks.
I also sell bundles of "not kiln dried" mixed wood with main wood being red oak and cherry for $5 a bundle with 8 sticks or large bundles of Cherry for $8 a bundle.
