Here's what you're actually getting:
Real oak, not a photo of oak. This is true Oak species with a 3mm wear layer on top, meaning you have real sanding and refinishing life in this floor down the road. That's a meaningful wear layer, not the razor-thin veneer you find on cheaper engineered products.
Built to last. Janka hardness rating of 1290-1360 puts this solidly in the durable range for a busy household, entryway, or rental property that needs to hold up over the years.
Wirebrushed texture with low gloss. The wirebrushing pulls out the natural grain and gives the surface a lived-in, textured feel that hides everyday wear far better than a high-gloss smooth finish. Dark Forest is a rich, deep brown tone that works with just about any trim or cabinet color.
Install it your way. Engineered construction means you're not locked into one method. Nail, staple, glue, or float it, whichever fits your subfloor and your budget for install labor.
Radiant heat compatible. If you've got in-floor heating or are planning it, this floor is rated to handle it, something solid hardwood generally cannot do.
5 inch width, 4-side eased edge. Wide enough to look modern and open up a room, with eased edges that give you that subtle beveled look between boards without collecting dirt in a deep V-groove.
