I'm looking for a native Korean speaker with whom to practice conversational Korean. I can read and write Hangul and have some speaking and comprehension skills but would like to practice with a native Korean. My wife is Korean and we (I) speak rudimentary domestic Korean at home but I need to practice outside of that milieu. I'm not sure what the going rate for tutoring is but I'm happy to pay a minimum of $50 an hour for a few hours of tutoring per week. I may have some other students interested in joining so we could negotiate a group rate if that's the case. I actually wouldn't mind at all if the tutor wanted to use part of the time to work on his/her English. That would be really cool too. I would love to have no choice but to communicate in Korean. When I was in Busan last January, I got an offer from a man at the grocery store to meet at a coffee shop and practice Korean and English together. Unfortunately, I was leaving the next morning! We could meet at Starbucks or the library or wherever you're comfortable.
