Line cooks are usually responsible for prepping ingredients and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications.

Responsibilities Include:
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat or preparing sauces
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the entire kitchen staff
• Follow the orders of the executive and sous chefs
• Keep station clean and free of unnecessary items
• Stock inventory as needed
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations as well as safety regulations

• Experience in food service industry
• Well-versed in preparing food items constantly while adhering to recipe standards
• Skilled in setting up stations in the restaurant
• Committed to practice, check, and strengthen food safety procedures
• Able to re-stock all items as required
• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with patrons and staff
• Good basic math skills
