Position Summary
The Sushi Chef is responsible for crafting exceptional sushi while upholding the venue’s high standards for quality, precision, and presentation. This role manages workflow, maintains an organized workspace, and works closely with front-of-house staff to deliver a memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, takes pride in their craft, and consistently demonstrates excellence in both culinary execution and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide range of sushi, including nigiri, sashimi, and hand rolls, with precision and consistency.
- Ensure all ingredients meet the highest standards for freshness and quality.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and sanitary workspace.
- Manage inventory and communicate supply needs proactively.
- Uphold presentation and service standards for every seating.
Qualifications
