The product is a Coustic XM-3e Mobile Electronic Crossover. It is a vintage car audio component used to process and route audio signals to different amplifiers.
This is a vintage car audio product, is an “old school" unit with a lot of desirable functions.
It is designed to separate audio frequencies (high-pass, low-pass, and mixed/ subwoofer) for different speakers like subwoofers and mid/high-range speakers. Can be run in all three bandwidths separately, or in parallel configuration. Highly versatile variable frequency adjustments, phase selection, and db boost ( including a remote variable db boost dial for mixed/ sub channel ), plus more options… see pics.
This was a great compliment that I ran with my vintage old skool Soundstream amps setup…very clean no distortion crossover providing great frequency response….American made 90’s quality!
