The Tuesday class (5:30-6:30 pm) is an extremely gentle class. Relax and restore as you combine deep breathing, slow movement, and restorative postures that allow the body to gradually release tension.
The Thursday class (5:30-6:30 pm) is slow flow (Vinyasa) andmore active than the Tuesday class, but still gentle and suitable for beginners. Learn the principles of yoga for your mind, body, and spirit without any pressure to turn your body into a pretzel!
Abigail has extensive experience teaching students at all levels. This ongoing class is geared toward both beginners and those who want to expand their practice in a gentle but challenging way. Abigail's style is a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga which her students affectionately refer to as "Abigailian yoga". Gain strength, flexibility, and a calm and peaceful mind in a group of supportive and kind students each Tuesday and Thursday evening with Abigail.
Class meets in room 322 on the third floor of the church. Please wear comfortable loose-fitting or stretchy clothes. All props (mats, blankets, blocks, straps, bolsters) are provided. Class is ongoing, not limited to the dates listed above. Drop-ins are welcome. Please email me with any questions.
