Searching for a creative, innovative, hard working, quick working editor that is looking for a great project. This would be an ideal project for a student.

The film is a documentary feature that focuses on a specific independent music scene on the west coast. It includes live concert footage, interviews, etc. -- Billy Bob Thornton and Dwight Yoakam are both in the film and contributed hours of time on camera for the project.

The film will be released in DVD format with a cd soundtrack to go along with it. Multi-track audio was recorded during the entire project.

Am looking to partner and sign a contract with an editor. Royalties from DVD and CD soundtrack sales will be paid to editor/partner. Distribution has already been secured for the film to appear on DVD & CD in stores internationally. We are looking for filmmakers with a passion for filming live music performances. We will be filming 24 artists/bands over the course of 8 days (Nov 9-16). There will be 2-3 performances a day usually between 2:00pm and midnight (twice at 11:00am). Each performance should take no more than 2 hrs. You will be paid $13 an hour for an estimated total of 48 hours during the 8 days. There will be down time between shows for which you will not be paid; so living close to downtown is a plus. These will be 5-camera shoots. We need one more floor runner and one more on the tripod on the upper level.

Required:
Previous experience shooting concerts.
The ability to move around a tight space while keeping the camera steady.
Listening to the artist's songs before each shoot.
Ability to be aware of the other camera operators (where they are and who/what they are shooting) without sacrificing your own shot.

Preferred:
Knowledge of aperture manipulation, gain and white balance.
A background in music.
The ability to anticipate solos and recognize song structure.
Familiarity with a Fig Rig.

Having your own HD equipment will definitely help your chances.
This is a great opportunity to build your resume/portfolio and to be credited in a significant body of work.

hi, i have a full satellite system installed and hooked up already. I need someone who knows about FTA satellite systems to call me to help with downloading software and getting the thing running. $20 an hour. I have an Nfusion hd nuvenio system. If you don't know how to program this thing, it's not the job for you. Please respond if you have FTA experience. Fully motorized, quad lnb, 39" dish, on a tower, grounded with a diseqc switch. I even have the satellite finder. All plugged in to my network via ethernet cable, have all the programs downloaded, but the box is locked up, and I'm not getting power to my dish to line up the azimuth, it's pointing due south right now. Latitude/declination angles verified, but no menu on the tv on the input it's in (1). If you think you can do this, call Darrell 335-4467. This is the last scene we have left to shoot for the film, one that ties the whole film together. It is very important to find the right actor, yet we are also on a tight schedule and have very little time for rehearsal. The following is a short description of the character we need.

Paul - 40-60 year old male - A haggard and straightforward editor for a high profile book publishing company. Essentially shatters the dreams of the film's main character.

If you are interested in the part, we will be shooting for roughly 3-4 hours next Tuesday or Wednesday, whichever works best for your schedule. The director is out of town until then, so aside from a quick meeting before the shoot, there will be no face to face audition. We are currently recruiting for a part-time Audio Production Coordinator who is knowledgeable in the audio field and capable of working well with a virtual network of resources. A successful candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, plus have strengths in multi-tasking, organization skills, and a strong attention to detail. Candidate must have proficiency in audio editing software, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer with the ability to quickly learn new software programs.

Job Description:
The Audio Production Coordinator will provide a broad range of project management and technical support to the organization. The position will actively manage an audio production/post-production schedule and assist in the throughput of client projects as they relate to the Channel Development Process including but not limited to:

Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the scheduling and production of multiple simultaneous audiobook/voiceover projects in multiple locations for various clients
* Actively contact freelance readers/narrators, editors and QA teams (and receive calls) to schedule and prep audiobook productions
* Answer basic questions about nature of audiobook/voiceover process for freelance professionals and customers over the phone
* Help in recruiting audio professionals (narrators, editors, readers, etc.)
* Manage audio production/post-production schedule to complete projects ontime and within budget
* Follow standard review process and quality assurance process for all audio content created
* Ensure finished audiobooks are mastered per client specs
* Route appropriate communications to Client Service Department
* Assist in clean-up/editing of audio content when necessary

Requirements:
* Audio production and/or post-production experience necessary
* Computer proficiency with Internet tools, audio editing software and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook required
* Highly developed organizational skills
* Project management skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Customer service mentality
* Comfort with being on the phone (both making and receiving calls)
* Attention to detail essential
* Must possess and maintain competent, communication skills
* College degree preferred, but not required
* Proven to be fast paced, efficient, high energy and capable of thriving in a start-up environment
* Motivated, disciplined individual
