I have a powerbook that bas been 'totaled' out, logic board is broken, power cord is very close to dead and the piece that the power cord plugs into doesn't charge the battery, only keeps it powered on. Problem is, if it charges the battery it doesn't matter, because as soon as you pull the plug out it dies because of the logic board. The screen also has a little trouble, doesn't go out, but sometimes needs a little adjusting until it settles correctly. It's fine as a desktop, the alternate monitor port works just fine.

You can see in the pics there is a small spot on the screen where the glass has a little hole in it. There are no dead pixels, and it has a beautiful display, it looks like a glossy photograph.

I have 1 stick of laptop ram I pulled from my wife's laptop when I upgraded it.

It came from a Toshiba Satellite A110, but it will work in any laptop that takes 200-pin PC2-4200 RAM.

Check http://www.crucial.com to determine the specs for your laptop.

For the techies, it's 256 MB of Samsung, 4-4-4-12, with a CL of 3.

The going rate on 512 MB of quality Crucial RAM is about $16, so I'm guessing this is worth about 1/2 of that, but any reasonable offer will be considered.

I hate to do it but i need the money.

the computer is only 5 months old...so that leaves 7 months left on applecare (with the option of getting 2 more years by buying the extended warranty)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the machine. It is in perfect condition. It has rarely left my desk.

It comes with 4 gig of ram installed and the original 2 gig sticks just incase you need them or want to sell them.

Comes with everything that came in the box...osx leapard, dvi converter ect.
