So I went online to order more contacts only to find out my prescription of one year has expired!!! ONE YEAR OLD PRESCRIPTION HAS EXPIRED??????
So basically law makers (you know the ones who want to SOLVE the health care crisis) tell me that I'm way too dumb to figure out if I can still see or not. They want me to spend MORE money in order to get something that I already have - a prescription for contact lenses.
So every year for the rest of my life I have to spend more and more money just so I can see with contacts (pieces of plastic). Anyone wonder why health care is so damn expensive? Crazy laws like these!!!! Who's really protecting who? Government for us or government for the health care industry?
Well that's it. After I go to the eye doctor I have to go to my shoe doctor to get a new prescription for shoes. The shoes I wear now are fine but I need some new dress shoes. Unfortunately the government said I'm too stupid to tell if my own feet have grown.
And yes. I know some of you are going to say that the laws are for my own good because they might prevent an infection or other problem. Thank you for the concern but I'm old enough to stay home all by myself where I don't need a babysitter anymore.
