I'm a songwriter working on my demos, and having trouble getting together with a drummer I can keep in a steady band. What I need for now is a drummer to help me with drumbeats; I have Reason and I've been programming them, and they don't sound particularly bad, but no matter what I do they don't sound real, and as a mere guitarist, I can't seem to figure out why. Plus, I'm sure an actual drummer would be able to come up with better beats. I'm including links to youtube for five of them, but I actually have about 20 songs to do, although 7-8 of them aren't quite finished being written yet. I'd like to have someone come up with better beats and I have a studio to record them in, and if you decide after hearing my music that you'd like to keep drumming for me for shows and the like, then by all means (as long as we can get along well). I recently moved to Nashville looking to relocate the rest of my band down this way from Indiana. We JUST recorded a full length record and will be releasing it this spring with a label. We toured most of the Spring/Summer/Fall last year and are being forced to take some time off to save money and find a bass player.
We need a creative dude between 18 and 28ish looking to join a committed and established project. Everyone in the band is cool and easy to get along with. It'd be nice to have your own gear or means by which to acquire some soon.

I'm a college student and songwriter with a catalogue of original music. Most of the music is just melodies and lyrics, but all are very original, unique, and vivid. Alot of them focus on a story with alot of imagery and none subscribe to typical cliches, (not many love songs).

The music is alt-country/Americana/Bluegrass/Texas-Red Dirt country, similar to Robert Earl Keen, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Chris Knight, Roger Creager, Jason Boland, Cory Morrow, Turnpike Troubadours etc.

I write a ton of music but I find myself limited by my lack of skill on guitar, so I would like to work with a band of experienced musicians that can provide backing tracks for me to write lyrics and melodies to, or to add character and quality to the instrumentals of the music I have already written.

I can sing decently and could be good with practice, but I don't need to be a part of the band. I just want to progress as a songwriter, open the doors to more inspiration, and most of all just hear my music played as final product.

I'm not looking for money, and I definitely think that any alt-country/Americana band should contact me and hear what I have. If you have the skill, I may be able to inject the creativity that you need to gain traction.

It's been a while since I've played with other people and I'm wanting to get together with like-minded people to make some music and have fun doing it. I'm not looking to quit my day job to be the next big thing, but I am serious to practicing and doing shows. I can provide vocals if necessary. There's a lot of rust to shake off so I'm probably not a great candidate for lead right off the bat. Given some more practice, I could most likely fill a rhythm, rhythm + vocals, or lead role.

Most songs I know enjoy playing are 80's/90's hard rock or metal. Nothing too heavy. Metallica, AC/DC, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Kiss, Soundgarden, some Slayer; these are the artists that influenced me most. I am pretty open to any kind of rock music that tends to gain popularity and gets radio play (not exclusively though).

I've got over 30 years experience so if you're lookin for a 20-30 year old I won't fit with your band but if you want some real experience on stage and studio then call me. I don't work free gigs or gigs for the door as those are just all BS and it's not worth your while to mess with them. This is that real experience talking here again! I don't need the "exposure", been there, done that, nope ain't doing it anymore! Now if you have a real paying gig with real pros I'm interested. I read or write Nashville number system charts, have all top pro gear, and will travel weekends only. I'm never late, totally professional at all times, love to play as much as I ever did. We recently started an organization called The Sing Me a Story Foundation. The premise behind our organization is that we give children in children's hospitals, orphanages and youth organizations around the world the chance to write and illustrate stories about anything they want. We then give those stories to songwriters (any type of songwriter) who turn them into songs, record them and send them back to the kids via our program. It all takes place online on our website which is http://www.SingMeAStory.org and it's simply a matter of reading the stories, writing and recording a tune, and uploading it back to the story.

We are (for the time being) an indie rock/pop duo. We write music in the vein of Death Cab For Cutie/Copeland/ early Weezer and Jimmy Eat World/ the Shins/ Silversun Pickups/ Snow Patrol. I'm looking to work with a band that I can write, collaborate, and/or play shows with, I am 25 years old and have been consumed by music since I can remember.. I began playing drums at 5 but never really pursued it fully, yet I'm decent with drum machines and synthesizers.. bass at 9, guitar at 13 and I've been writing poetry/lyrics for about 16+ years.. I started playing the piano about 5 years ago, but lately I've been more focused on my vocal range, endurance, style and my approach to writing lyrics. I currently have a solo Industrial Metal project (HOST), I write, compose and record all of it.

I have been in a few bands and I've collaborated with a few as well, including (but not limited to) Vasum, Mindset Defect, Bridge to Oblivion, Autia, Error 51, Blind Defeat, Sedent (now Through the Eyes Of) and Eleven Red, I'd like to do something aggressive.. but with melody. But I'm also down for strict brutality. I'm looking for driven, grounded, open-minded individuals.. arrogance isn't something I want to keep dealing with. I have my own gear other than a PA (including Pro Tools, guitars, keys, mics etc..). My influences range from Classical to Death Metal and everything in between and beyond. If you want to compare influences, lately I've been listening to a lot of Soilwork, Parkway Drive, Whitechapel, Solution .45, The Few Against Many, Denial Machine, Turmion Katilot, Insomnium, System Divide, In Flames, Earshot and Disarmonia Mundi. I've also recently found a love for Dubstep.

I love experimenting with and mixing different styles and trying to find new ways to create new sounds and waves musically and structurally. I have a VAST horizon of tastes and influences, not just Metal but I'm looking to focus mainly on Metal.
