• Work closely with management to learn job related information and adhere procedures for completing work.
• Candidate should know both the CMYK and RGB color space and how to do Photoshop corrections in both spaces.
• Candidate should be creative with a strong working knowledge in Photoshop and be proficient on the Macintosh Apple platform
• Candidate should know color management.
• Candidate should have a discerning eye for what looks natural in composition and color correction/balance is a must.
• The candidate should enjoy challenges and "it can't be done" is not in their vocabulary.
• Must possess extensive knowledge in garment color matching, cosmetic and beauty retouching.
• Excellent team/collaboration skills and the ability to work in a fast paced production environment are a must.
• The candidate should also be extremely attentive to detail, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects concurrently

• Digital Plan-O-Grams
• Store Signage
• Catalogs and booklets
• Store bin strips and sales sheets

Prepping files for domestic and international printers.
Assist Creative Director with any other duties, as necessary.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
• 2-4 years work experience in graphic design, “big box” company experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 3 and Quark Xpress, with emphasis in Illustrator & Photoshop.
• Working knowledge of Macintosh operating systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced production atmosphere.
• Pre-press and printing experience.
• A great attitude to compliment our current design team.
• Excellent eye for design and detail is important.

* Must be proficient in using AutoCAD, including 3D modeling functions.
* Working within the parameters of the project estimate, create construction drawings showing sections, details, plans and elevations as required for shop manufacture.
* Work closely with the purchasing manager and account manager to select cost effect materials and construction techniques.
* Create detailed fabrication drawings for outside vendors.
* Follow all established company procedures related to organize drawing files, documents and misc. files in an orderly and easily accessible manner on a workstation and network drive.
* Ability to organize/utilize time effectively and put in additional hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
* Use AutoDesk Viz, or similar to create 3D models and rendered images to effectively communicate design concepts and spatial relationships to clients.
REQUIREMENTS
* Thorough working knowledge of exhibit and themed environment construction and techniques.
* Excellent communication skills, both visual and written/verbal.
Computer Software Experience: AutoCAD, Viz, MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with Dreamweaver and Flash is a plus

The compensation for this job is $150, based on the amount of time we think it would take a proficient designer to complete this job. The length of time it actually takes you is completely dependent upon your ability to work quickly under pressure.

Work is relatively slow now so don't expect a high volume of shooting/scouting/prep days even if you're the greatest assistant I've ever had (sorry for both of us)
I pay for travel, usually by air, meals and yes you'll definitely have your own hotel room. I've always found new assistants by referral but that hasn't gone well lately.
Pay is commiserate with experience but you'll never work for me and not get paid quickly (like some photographers I know....)
I'll want to meet you before hiring for a shoot. I'll need some references but a student will be considered for a second assistant position.
I'm a male and my wife would probably prefer a male assistant for travel shoots but a female would be fairly considered, I'm no chauvinist but part of the
job is carrying equipment cases.

- Design and code splash pages, HTML emails, banners, cd labels, radio singles, and other small design projects
