Just changed jobs, and the current landlords are Protestant enough to not have faith that I will catch up the rent (just this one time out of the 7 months we've been living there) once the checks start coming in. Don't you love it when a plan comes together....Family of 4 needs a reasonably priced home in a good neighborhood for short term rental while new house is being built in McKay's Mill. Scheduled completion is Late August-September. We put our home on the market last Saturday hoping to sell in 2-3 months and received a contract on it in 5 days. (Thank you !!!!) So much for the slow real estate market.... New owners need possession of our place on May 27 so we need to move to a temporary home quickly. We will be low-impact renters - no decorating, minimal furniture, etc. and will take good care of the property and yard. Willing to do some minor cosmetic work (painting, yard work, etc.) to help offset cost a bit. I would be willing to show present home to demonstrate how we care for our property (which we lived in for past 18 years) We would use space to store our belongings instead of renting a POD or storage space. I do have two cats and a dog who have been inside pets since they were young - again my present house speaks to how they behave inside.
