April 1, 2008 (Nashville, Tennessee) -- Master Charles Cannon, a modern mystic and spiritual visionary that has revolutionized contemporary spirituality, is making a rare visit to Nashville this spring. Tennesseans will have an opportunity to interact with the world-renowned spiritual leader during a free event on April 22 at the Ford Theatre (at the Country Music Hall of Fame) that is billed as “An Evening Dialogue & Meditation.”
Cannon, affectionately known as Master Charles, is a contemporary American mystic and master of meditation. During his early years of study in India, Cannon was fully trained in the traditional contexts of Vedic/Tantric mysticism and initiated as a Vedic monk. However, it was his updating and contemporizing the traditional methods of meditation and holistic lifestyle with a different approach - the Synchronicity technology - that has made him one of the most innovative and talked-about spiritual visionaries of the modern era. In 1983, he established the Synchronicity Foundation; it is from this organization that he teaches the Synchronicity Experience: a holistic spiritual method that balances all aspects of the body (physical, emotional mental and subtle), with the intent of bringing greater balance and wholeness to the individual.
Nashville-based spiritualist/vibrational healer Rudrani Devi, sponsor of his visit to Nashville, said of Cannon, "Not only is he educated and articulate in the traditional eastern teachings, particularly the Vedic/Tantric traditions, but he has found a way for us, as Westerners, to incorporate our need for spiritual openness with updated practices that make meditation and fulfillment easily within our grasp. I’ve seen him change the lives of many in one night."
Master Charles Cannon’s two-hour “Evening Dialogue & Meditation” on Tuesday, April 22nd at 7:30 pm at the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Ford Theatre is free of charge; further information about the event is available at www.synchronicity.org and www.rudranidevi.com.
