JOB DESCRIPTION:<br>
This is an hourly position and is based on billable time only.  We anticipate an initial workload of approximately 15 hours to 30 hours per week.  If the workload increases, the employee may be asked to become fulltime with benefits as applicable.<br>

JOB DETAILS:<br>
This position will be responsible for underground storage tank (UST) sampling (soil and groundwater) as well as Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).  Remedial experience is a plus.  40-hour HAZWOPER certification and applicable Refresher courses are a plus.  Routine and technical report writing may also be required.<br>
<br>
Areas of work include industrial and commercial facilities, gas stations, drycleaners, manufacturing facilities, landfills, etc.  A willingness to travel outside of the Nashville area is mandatory.  All work related travel expenses will be reimbursed 100% and if a personal vehicle is used then mileage rates would be paid as well.<br>
<br>
Initially, this will be a field position and thus the work will be primarily performed in outside environments collecting soil and groundwater samples in typical southeast US seasonal conditions.  Frequent lifting of field equipment and the ability to work 12 hours a day (as applicable) are required for this position.<br>
<br>
REQUIREMENTS:<br>
The ideal candidate will have 0 to 5 years of experience with a degree in environmental science, geology, or engineering.  A college degree in an applicable area of study is required.  Registration as (or ability to gain) a professional geologist or Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer is preferred if applicable.<br>

DETAILED REQUIREMENTS:<br>

Position: Function as a Civil Field Engineer for the Blue Grass Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot plant BGCAPP, reporting to the Lead Civil Field Engineer group supervisor.<br>

Work Location: Blue Grass Army Deport, Madison County , KY.  Unescorted access to the project site candidate must successfully clear National Agency Check  NAC. All employees are subject to and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment. Must be physically fit and able to work safely at a construction site.<br>
<br>
Responsibilities include:<br>
<br>
Provides technical direction to the Civil Superintendent and crafts.<br>
<br>
Performs inspections and documentation of all civil work in progress on a daily basis<br>
<br>
Perform constructability reviews of issued concrete rebar placement drawings<br>
<br>
Perform constructability reviews of issued structural steel drawings and rebar fabrication detail drawings<br>
<br>
Performs detailed inspection of shop fabrication rebar and embeds<br>
<br>
Performs constructability reviews of issued structural steel drawings and rebar fabrication detail drawings<br>
<br>
Functions as a liaison between engineering and off site rebar fabrication subcontractor to resolve design discrepancies and provide drawing interpretations.<br>
<br>
Develop change documents as required to correct minor design discrepancies<br>
<br>
Assist supervision and project controls in preparation of short term schedules<br>
<br>
Executes field take offs from issued For Construction drawings, provides input to the quantity tracking applications and reports weekly installed quantities to Project Controls<br>
<br>
Prepares material requisitions for permanent and temporary materials<br>
<br>
Assist field procurement in inspection and receipt of materials<br>
<br>
Experience in construction and technical inspection of structural steel, concrete, rebar, embeds, anchor bolts and architectural.<br>
<br>
Must be familiar with AISC, ACI and building code.<br>
<br>
Familiarity with Standard Application Program standards and other automation tools which are used on Industry projects.<br>
<br>
Must be computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications and familiar with current industry quality standards.<br>
<br>
Must be able to develop rebar installation plans<br>
<br>
Must be able to support Design Engineering with the development of a Material Requisitioning of a large rebar order<br>
<br>
Must be able to perform a lead role for a major concrete/rebar installation<br>

<description><![CDATA[The Electrical engineer is responsible for the design and development of electrical systems and/or control panels used by Mayekawa USA to high specifications, focusing on: economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.  Responsibilities and duties include:<br>
<br>
	Design control drawings (layout, wiring diagram, loop diagram) with sufficient knowledge of the system; <br>
	Prepare control panel estimates;     <br>
	Produce FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) documents;  <br>
	Program control panels using PLC and HMI programming;<br>
	Create raw flow diagrams from control specs. Draw interface diagrams from system P&ID;<br>
	Responsible for training service technicians on control panel and electrical equipment;<br>
	Research and quality locate local fabricators and supervise the local fabrications;<br>
<br>
Skills and Qualifications:<br>
	Proficient in CAD <br>
	Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming. <br>
	Proficient in reading design specifications and technical drawings;<br>
	Knowledge of electrical code and standard such as UL, IEC, NEC, CE and others.<br>
	Experience troubleshooting electrical industrial controls<br>
	Design and fabrication skills of the control panel in accordance with the above mentioned code and standard.<br>
	Excellent written and verbal skills<br>
	Strong MS office skills<br>

Job Responsibilities:<br>
As a Forensic Consultant (Structural Engineer), you will provide residential and commercial site investigations to determine the cause and origin of structural failures, damages or defects.  Investigate and assess damages due to catastrophes such as windstorm damage, hail damage, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes. Provide detailed reports outlining the cause and origin of the damages to clients. You will have client interaction on a regular basis, including marketing of services when not directly working on a job. You may also be called upon to provide expert testimony in a court of law.<br>

Requirements:<br>
Candidates will possess a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, PE is required, and at least 5+ years experience as a design/structural engineer (residential, industrial and commercial buildings). Experience working with law firms and insurance companies is a plus. Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, high-rise and governmental facilities is desired. Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel and clients both verbally and written. Travel may be extensive depending on the clients needs.<br>
